Neil On TV
Neil has written and hosted documentaries for Channel NewsAsia. He is a regular contributor on football and current affairs shows, appearing on Singtel Mio TV, BBC, Eleven Sports, MediaCorp and SBS in Australia. He even wrote a quirky children’s TV show called Mind Blown! about Stamford Raffles – and played Raffles.
In 2022, Neil won a NEW YORK FESTIVALS TELEVISION & FILM AWARD for one of his episodes of Mind Blown!
Mind Blown!
In 2020-2021, Neil wrote several episodes of Mind Blown! – a MediaCorp TV series for children, including the pilot episode opposite. The show takes viewers on an investigative journey to learn about a topical subject in an irreverent way.
Return To A Sexy Island
After Return to a Sexy Island became a best-seller, the book was adapted into a seven part TV series for Channel News Asia, focusing on controversial issues such as xenophobia, immigration, rising property prices and living standards.
Neil hosted and co-wrote the series. Insightful, but quirky, the programmes proved to be popular and the series was repeated in its entirety on National Day.

Neil joined a diverse group of Singaporeans and foreign residents to explain the complexity of integration in a globalised environment.
Game On Trailer
Singtel Mio’s Game On was a unique football show in Asia. It was a three-hour show covering every Premier League goal.
Neil was on the panel with former Manchester United and England defender Paul Parker. Host Richard Lenton kept order. The show was live every Saturday night before, during and after all the Premier League games.
There were no ad breaks and no script. Richard was Asian Sports Presenter of the Year. Paul played in a World Cup semi-final. Neil played in goal for Barking JFC.
